Frequently Asked Questions – Organizations
How is URNURSE different from other programs?
All URNURSE staff receive two days of orientation at all participating facilities. The first day is to ensure that URNURSE staff are able to navigate throughout the hospital that they are working in, all IT related issues and accesses are provided and all issues resolved. The URNURSE staff member will orient the first shift (day shift) on the unit of less-acuity choice specialty (Ex. Mother-baby, step-down, PEDS, medical-surgical) and the second shift, the staff member will orient on the higher acuity unit (Ex. ICU, CCU, ED, L&D, PICU, MICU, etc.) Post-shift, Compassionate Solutions client and staff member are encouraged to rate each other based on experience, strengths and areas of improvement on a rating scale. This number is updated on organization and client profile.
Compassionate Solutions, LLC completes and on-boards all candidates for the URNURSE program. Agency completes all pre-hire screening (background check, drug-testing), immunization records, credentialing etc. Compassionate Solutions will provide candidate profiles to the facility and references to verify candidate skillset.
How will it benefit my organization?
URNURSE is designed to assist organizations in providing a positive and safe experience for patients and staff. Our staff are flexible and allow for nurses to remain in their unit. It takes the burden off leadership and anxiety away from the core nursing staff floating from unit to unit. Our experienced staff remain on-call at a flat rate, and a premium rate with an arrival time to the facility within 2 hours of notification.
Who handles payroll and benefits?
Compassionate Solutions handles all payroll and benefits. Compassionate Solutions simply submits the organization a simple invoice at the end of each month.
How long does the process take?
Total on-boarding takes no more than 28 days. URNURSE staff are encouraged to submit all materials as soon as possible to avoid any delays with verification of materials. Don’t forget to give us three references.
How much will this cost us?
Please contact Compassionate Solutions at info@compassionate-solutions.com or by telephone: 301-979-9000. Our specialty nurses, and allied health professionals are rated based on their area of specialty.
